Pass Thru Doors: Specifications
The PSI package pass thru has a welded body formed from 10-gauge steel on the top, bottom, and sides. The doors, on each end, as well, are made from 10-gauge formed stainless steel. The pass through frame of 7-gauge steel is 2” wide, with four sides cut and notched at each corner. Post-installation field welding secures the pass through in position.
Pass thru doors are attached using concealed 16-gauge piano hinges. The doors on PSI's package pass thru is secured with two latches: a paddle latch on the secured side, and an internal latch to control the unsecured side. This guarantees that only one door will operate at a time. The pass thru is finished with a chemical degreaser, a rust-inhibitive primer, and a #4 finish on all the stainless steel doors
PSI also makes a pass thru hopper, or ( "pass hopper" ) - another device used to pass weapons and other valuable items from one area of a law enforcement center to another.
